Social Media Graphics
(2023–Present)
I have been volunteering with AIGA Portland and creating various graphics for their social media. During my time volunteering with AIGA’s The Transparency Initiative (TTI), I contributed to their November newsletter. I worked closely with the design director and writer to create graphics that support each topic, along with creating an email banner. I followed TTI’s visual guidelines and used the approved graphics and fonts.
Additionally, I helped with creating graphics for AIGA of Portland. I designed graphics for various social media platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, Newsletter, and Website. My aim was to inform the audiences about volunteer opportunities. I had the freedom to create the overall look and feel as there was no visual guideline to follow. I experimented with typography and used simple shapes to support content and make designs visually engaging.

Newsletter Banner - Design options
I applied the graphics from TTI’s visual guidelines to create various patterns that were visually engaging. Additionally, I played around with the new gradients that were developed and experimented with the most effective ways to apply them, whether on the background or on the various shapes.
AIGA of Portland - Volunteer Posts
I was assigned to create graphics for eight social media posts that would promote the volunteer opportunities available at AIGA of Portland. I had a tight deadline and decided to experiment with typography, making it the main element of the design. To enhance the overall look, I added simple shapes, graphics and gradients to make it more engaging and exciting.
