Hooty Kids
Anger Management (2023)
This project was created for my previous employer with the goal of creating an animated video aimed at children to help them manage their anger. Each designer was given the task of creating a concept that met the specifications of the creative director. Although my design was chosen at the end, the project was not finalized.
I decided to evolve the project further as a personal project and created Hooty Kids, an educational platform designed to help parents teach their children about emotions and healthy ways to manage anger. This program is designed to provide practical tools and techniques that parents can use to help their children build emotional awareness and regulate their feelings. In this project I focused on the animated video created to give children the tools to manage their anger effectively.
My goal with this brand was to find the perfect balance between playful and professional, so that both kids and parents could enjoy it. Hooty the Owl is our adorable brand mascot whose purpose is to establish an emotional bond with the audience, particularly children. While creating this character I made sure he looked kind and trustworthy to build trust with our audience.

Anger Management technique walkthrough (Taking deep breaths)
I wanted to visually represent a character's progression from anger to calmness. I used a red background to signify anger and a simpler, more serene background to represent the character's focus on their breath and clearing their mind.
